Saving lives under fire – that is the reality in which military paramedics and civilian first aiders have to work. To ensure these professionals are fully prepared, training in accordance with the TCCC and TECC protocols is essential. Skills Meducation offers advanced simulation solutions that make these training courses realistic and effective. This allows you to train your teams as if they were in a real-life situation – but in a safe and controlled environment.

What is tactical medicine?

Tactical medicine focuses on providing medical care in a hostile or chaotic environment. The TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) protocol was developed for military operations, whilst TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) is aimed at civilian teams such as the police and fire services. Both protocols follow the MARCH principle: Massive haemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation and Hypothermia. Correctly applying these steps can mean the difference between life and death.

Realistic training thanks to simulation

At Skills Meducation, we believe in the ‘train as you fight’ philosophy. That is why we provide solutions that create a realistic and high-pressure training environment. Think of XR (mixed reality) combat simulation with sound, smoke and visual effects, combined with lifelike injuries created using moulage. This allows instructors and teams to practise under conditions that replicate reality as closely as possible.

Our simulation solutions

We offer a wide range of resources to support TCCC and TECC training. From tourniquet and haemorrhage simulation to chest drain training and realistic injury simulation. In addition, we supply video debriefing systems that enable you to analyse and learn from an exercise once it has finished. These solutions are designed to help training centres take their courses to the next level. You determine the content of the training; we provide the tools that make all the differenceWOUND

Who are these solutions intended for?

Our simulation solutions have been developed for organisations that provide tactical medical training, such as the armed forces, the police, special intervention teams and the fire service. Anyone who has to save lives in a tactical environment benefits from realistic and well-designed simulation.

The benefits of simulation for readiness

Simulation offers a unique opportunity to develop skills without the risks associated with a real-life deployment. By training in a controlled environment, teams can make mistakes, learn and improve. This not only enhances technical proficiency, but also boosts your people’s self-confidence and mental resilience. Furthermore, simulation makes it possible to repeat and vary complex scenarios, ensuring your teams are prepared for every conceivable situation. The result? Greater operational readiness and a higher chance of success when it really matters..

What is BlueRoom?
BlueRoom is a medical training platform designed for teams in the defence, aviation medicine, emergency medical services and accident and emergency sectors. It enables teams and trainees to use real equipment, seriously injured casualties or simulation manikins, and mission-specific medical equipment in realistic environments: in the air, on land, at sea, during a mission and in the clinic.
