This model can be used for training gastric tube insertion and fixation, both orally and through the nose and PEG. It can be used with or without skin, making demonstration and training easy. An anatomical cross-section is also included.
Skills trained:
- Inserting a gastric tube through the nose or mouth
- PEG probe insertion/care.
- Measuring the PH value
- The stomach can be cleaned with water to which a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar are added, so that the litmus test can be done.
