Does Baby SIMira need power, software, or a tablet?

No. Baby SIMira operates entirely without electronics. For intubation and catheterisation, all you need is water-based lubricant.

What consumables come up during course use?

Airway modules, intraosseous bone inserts with replacement skin, and umbilical cords. All three are replaceable and already included in generous quantities – twelve bone inserts with four puncture sites each give you 48 intraosseous punctures.

Is Baby SIMira suitable for NLS, NRP, and PALS courses?

Yes. Airway management, ventilation, chest compressions, and umbilical and intraosseous access cover the practical skills required for these course formats.

Is Baby SIMira also available as a preterm baby?

Yes, alongside the full-term size, the simulator is also available in a preterm size.

How is Baby SIMira cleaned?

Wipe down with warm soapy water after use; the outer surfaces can be disinfected with up to 70% isopropyl alcohol. The simulator must not be fully submerged – insert the pacifier and pinch the nose shut while cleaning.
