The Postpartum Haemorrhage Kit is designed for the PROMPT Flex Standard and the PROMPT Flex Advanced birthing simulators. Be sure to order the variant that matches the skin tone of your simulator.

How much simulated blood loss is possible?

Up to 2.5 litres. The blood flow is controlled by a hand pump and can be adjusted during the scenario.

Which suture techniques can I practise with the PPH kit?

The compression suture uterus is designed for the B-Lynch, Hayman and Pereira techniques. In addition, the broad ligament can be dissected and the uterine artery ligated.

Do I also need the Clean Bleed® Mat?

No, the kit comes with its own blood system. The Clean Bleed® Mat is worthwhile if you want to collect the blood loss, measure it quantitatively by weighing and significantly reduce the cleaning effort after training.

Which replacement parts and consumables will I need?

For the injection pad, the ACF pad skin (item no. LT00170) and the replacement vein (item no. LT00180) are available. You reorder the Concentrated Venous Blood as a refill (item no. 00021); the compression suture uterus can also be reordered separately.
